Maggies Mom visited over New Years 2000 and we decided to take a little trip to Pompei and the Amalfi Coast along with Manu and his girlfriend (Manu is an old friend of ours from Germany). We really enjoyed ourselves. Pompei is only about a half an hour away so we packed a luch, loaded the car and drove on down to Pompei and Amalfi. Pompei is becoming a regular trip for Maggie and I since everyone coming to visit wants to see it... Amalfi as well. Maggie and I find them both beautiful so that is fine with us... but we don't do Vesuvius... If you visit and want to climb it, feel free. That is one trip Maggie and I have had enough of!!!! The walk is toooooo loooooon and about straight up.
