Climbing in May/June

I was quite active in the May timeframe. The snow was rather deep in some places and I had no snowshoes with me since I did not think that I would encouter this much snow. It was a learning experience since Icould walk for 50 yards or so and suddenly plunge down 4 feet or so.. In number 0031 you can see out towards Munich. The view was awesome on this day/hike. I started out in full parka, etc. and by the time I reached the top I was on fire... I actually took an hour or so to strip down and lay out on a rock up here for some sun.
