These are photos from the 2011 New Hampshire Upland Game Opening day of hunting season (and the night before). Upland game here includes Pheasant, Rabbit, Wood Cock, etc. and is the true beginning of fall for hunters in the North East US.

It is also the kick of for our Seasonal Chat-Board get togethers as informal as they are. Here is Jeff (left), Craig (middle) and Dan (right) and I setting up.

The hunt... this is after a hot morninging that stated with a 4:30 in the morning wake up. Jeff is a bit ragged but his shots were true and his 2 dogs (Marly and Midget) were outstanding for the day. It started raining hard right after this picture.

Caden reflecting on a HARD mornings hunt and miles walked in thickets and heavily wooded areas... while he enjoys a blueberry doughnut. He slept HARD this night !
