Maggie and I along with a British friend went to the local zoo the other evening.

We were a bit apprehensive about what to expect. Sometimes the conditions the animals are in is... less than optimal.

While the zoo is not huge, it has a quite varied selection of wildlife.

These of course, are some of the birds that are scattered throughout. The Cockatoos were holding oranges in their claws to eat them.

The selection of animals is of course, focused more on those that can survive the heat.

Doha has the largest selection of Giraffes we have ever seen.

Sunset-One goes to the zoo about 4 or 5 (They stay open until 8/8:30) since it is BRUTALLY hot in the day.
