Doctor in Catanzaro (Calabria)
A Visit to the Dottore ???
Yes, I have a few photos!!!! I decided to go to Catanzaro in Calabria (About four hours south of here in the very bottom of Italy) to see a family doctor of Paola and Chris's. The family had recommended the doctor and after the military doctors here failed over a one year period in "curing" my foot problems and the local doctor in Naples recommended a specialist be seen, I went down with Chris and Paola. Although I won't show you photos of my foot problems, I did snap a few at the beach (Paola and her Dad), along the coast and of Paola's Mom and Dad so here you can take a look. The coast, beaches and water are wonderful in Calabria and remind me of home (California) The difference here is the beaches are clean and you can swim (unlike the rather dirty beaches in the Naples area... as a matter of fact, an hour either direction away from Naples is good for beaches but the Calabrese beaches a really good and the water is BLUE BLUE BLUE. Sorry there are no shots of Chris, Massimo and I but Chris & I were back next to the cooler with the beer !!! (Lite beer of course!)
BTW: Paolas Mom (shown w/Paola) can really cook good. We had a traditional large family meal the whole time I was there... not good for the diet!!!!
